Our Mission

About Hanna Krupa Missions

The Gospel in action.

Hanna Krupa Missions meets an array of difficulties, challenges and needs on a daily basis. Since 1985 we have sought to share the Good news of Jesus everywhere we go, to anyone who will listen. But here’s the thing our sharing doesn’t equate to all talk and no action. No, we seek to put the Gospel into action with the practical needs of the poor and needy being met. We currently reach around 20 colonies in the vicinity of Kothapatnam and our Colony (DT Colony) is home to our church campus. Some of the colonies are nomadic, tribal or unregistered meaning the people living here have no governmental support or are not recognised which makes life incredibly difficult for the people who live in them. HKM currently helps distribute basic provisions such as food and hygiene items. In the past we have installed water pumps in colonies which had no fresh drinking water and hired electricians to connect power where needed. Some of the people we meet have little more than a blanket and sticks as shelter and no provisions. We make it a priority to monitor these individuals and make sure they are getting the adequate support they need. Some colonies are so impoverished they don’t have even the basics such as simple clothing. We often do clothing drops and blanket distributions for those who need it and small simple gifts for the children who quite literally have nothing.

We always look to proclaim our faith in the one true God , Jesus Christ. Many of the families we meet are Hindu but are open to hear the Gospel message we share. We always provide a message of hope and we have seen many families come to Christ and now attend our Sunday services held at HKM church. With the children we will often sing songs and tell them bible stories and all about God’s love. Sometimes we give them something simple like a balloon which almost always brings a smile. The need is ever great and always challenging and we often are very limited in what we can do due to our own limited resources.

Our Vision

Our vision is to reach more remote colonies with the Gospel and aid and also to develop more local community projects such as sewing classes for young girls to learn and support their families.

Recently our church building was condemned as structurally unsafe. We had a temporary structure set up but we outgrew this and it was not adequate for our needs. We are currently meeting in a shelter behind our home on the church land. We desperately need a place of worship and this is our long term vision where we can meet safely and also have extra space to run local community projects. We have faith and  believe that God can help us in every area of our need.
